The committee (formerly known as the International Committee on Microfinance and Financial Inclusion, www.nysba.org/MAFIC) supports the expansion of microfinance and other methods of financial inclusion, social enterprise, and social finance via both commercial and non-profit sectors. As a cross-cutting discipline, related legal issues include banking and e-banking, international investment, insurance, secured transactions, security interests, alternative dispute resolution, poverty eradication, and women’s rights.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
Certified by the State of Florida as a mediator and qualified as an arbitrator. Service to the American Arbitration Association on its Commercial Mediation Panel and its Commercial and Consumer Arbitration Panels (keyed for intellectual property cases).
